About the event
Birdwatching is a great way to practice mindfulness and bond with our children. Amanda Peavey, Environmental Educator from the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council will lead us on a guided mindfulness and birding walk followed by a take-home birding craft! There will be a mindfulness and birding walk.
Binoculars will be provided.
This is a free event made possible by grant funding from The Robert F. Schumann Foundation.
Meet at the picnic tables by the parking lot. Look for people with binoculars!
Thrive Outside presents this workshop in partnership with Nuevas Voces program at the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council.
