The Amazing Adventure at Blithewold!
Join us for an adventure through the beautiful Blithewold grounds where you will be challenged and intrigued by clues and physical obstacles. There will be food trucks, music, games, raffles, picnicking on the great lawn and more! Event is rain or shine.

About the event
Embark on an adventure through the Blithewold grounds where you willl hunt for answers to clues and be presented with physical challenges! You will also come upon stations run by local, environmentally-minded organizations who will stamp your "passport" upon completion of their activity. Those who fill up their passport will be eligible to win great raffle prizes! Plus - all registrants will receive a free ice cream!
Form a team, do it as a family, a pair or on your own!
This will be a FUN event for ALL ages! Come be a part of the Adventure or simply picnic with your family on the great lawn, enjoy food from the food trucks, listen to live musical performances and enjoy the outdoors.
Thrive Outside is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping our youth THRIVE through outdoor learning and nature play. We do this through the creation and implementation of dynamic, outdoor learning environments, outdoor teaching teacher professional development, curriculum enhancements, nature play, and programs at schools and organizations that work with young people.
We currently have three, local Outdoor Learning Projects:
- Kickemuit Middle School, Warren, RI
- Mt. Hope High School, Bristol, RI
- Melville Elementary School, Portsmouth, RI
We believe that all young people should have the opportunity to THRIVE OUTSIDE!
