Thrive Outside helped to transform the Rockwell schoolyard from a virtually unusable space to a dynamic one where students can both learn and play. 

 

When the schoolyard had become a dust bowl due to ongoing erosion and flooding, Thrive helped the School secure a $100,000 grant to reimagine and renovate the space. With the help of our Concept Vision Design, cost estimating and oversight of volunteers planting, the space is now a nature oasis. The drainage issues have been solved and there are clearly delineated spaces for both play and hands-on, outdoor learning.
